The simple is for summer.

It's really so hot and humid in Japan.

Flowers go rotten so quickly. Some flowers sometimes are not lively even before using. Summer is not welcomed for ikebana lovers.


This ikebana work is one of my favorites. The subject is a big leaf like a wing, yellow butterfly palm, and the leaves can provide various types of images because their stems are soft and whole of the leaf can be bowed easily. Expression by this green helps a whole work to give a move.


Flower combination of this work is simple and does not have colors so much. This is just as well in order not to be stuffy.
